During 24 hours you can see the fog lift from the valley from the veranda of the Margot house after getting up and the green hills appear. Down by the stream you can see deer drinking and on the other side of the valley the farmer leaves his cows in the meadow. and sometimes the grass is still being mowed with a scythe. A picturesque white church can be seen on every hilltop. The bells chime, noon. The sun revolves around the house and makes it comfortably warm. The rest of your party takes place at the long solid wooden table where lunch turns into barbecue or dinner. You realize you haven't heard a car all day. Darkness falls as the crickets chirp in and the stars emerge. No light pollution here, you've never seen it this dark.
